About Fyzal
I graduated from NY Institute of Technology with a BFA in Computer Graphics. After college, I became a wedding and event videographer based out of Queens, NY. After capturing hundreds of events, I moved to photography.
Event photography allowed me to capture moments in time both candidly and with direction. Getting the perfect photo is priceless. But sometimes unavoidable circumstances leads that perfect photo to the editing workstation. That’s where my love for retouching began.
I started as a full-time retoucher at Reproductions (NY) in 2006. After juggling both event photography and retouching at Reproductions, I decided to leave event photography. I worked professionally as a retoucher for 14 years before Covid-19 caused Reproductions to close in 2020.
Today I’m excited to continue my journey as a freelance retoucher.
